Frogs has an outer covering of skin, just as humans and many other animals do but because they are amphibians the skins of frog are very permeable to gases and liquids.

⇒The outer covering skin of the frog is soft and moist, which is generally made up of two layers known as an outer epidermis and inner epidermis.

⇒This skin feature of the frog helps it in respiration. The skin is very much permeable to gases and liquid.

⇒This feature helps it absorb water and remove toxins from the body, and as they are amphibians, this also allows them to breathe under the water.
