The distal convoluted tubule (DCT) is a portion of kidney nephron between the loop of Henle and the collecting tubule.

functions of PCT and DCT is to reabsorb and also secrete some substances...

PCT - 70-80 % water and electrolytes are reabsorbed and selective secretion of hydrogen ions, ammonia...

DCT - conditional reabsorption of Na ions water , HCO3- and selective secretion of hydrogen and potassium ions, ammonia...
