The physical quantities in physics that are independent to each other are called as fundamental quantities. And also have some definite units known as fundamental units for measurement.

Some of the fundamental quantities and their fundamental units are :-

*Length - metre(m)

*mass -kilogram(kg)

*Time-seconds (s)

*temperature - Kelvin(K)

*Light-candela(c)

*Current - ampere (A)

*Amount of any substance - mole (m)
