Answer:

Gender inequality means when people of two different genders are not treated equally. We very well know women are not treated equally as men. This inequality begins even before the birth of baby. The sex of the unborn foetus is found out using ultrasonography. If the sex is found out to be female , the foetus is killed in the mother's womb. This is called Female foeticide. Girl child is not sent to school , and are taught how to be good mothers , and how to take care of a family at home , while males are sent to schools. The women don't get equal opportunity for jobs , and get paid less for the same work they do as compared to men. They also have to suffer from workplace harassment.
