Gender inequality acknowledges that men and women are not equal and that gender affects an individual's lived experience.
Some ways to reduce gender inequality are:
Reduce socialization by parents and other adults of girls and boys into traditional gender roles.Confront gender stereotyping by the popular and news media.Increase public consciousness of the reasons for, extent of, and consequences of rape and sexual assault, sexual harassment, and pornography.Increase enforcement of existing laws against gender-based employment discrimination and against sexual harassment.Increase funding of rape-crisis centers and other services for girls and women who have been raped and/or sexually assaulted.Increase government funding of high-quality day-care options to enable parents, and especially mothers, to work outside the home if they so desire, and to do so without fear that their finances or their children’s well-being will be compromised.Increase mentorship and other efforts to boost the number of women in traditionally male occupations and in positions of political leadership.
hope it helps!

here is ur answer...
Gender inequality is differentiation between people due to gender. Individual can be either of masculine or feminine gender. Since ages there has been perception towards genders depending on their sexes, strengths, capacity and capability to do a certain task. Inequalities are majorly displayed at commercial workplaces and home.
At home, parents are responsible for this. It's demonstrated in various ways. At workplaces women are paid less, seen as a play material, helpless, depending on male subordinates and being vulnerable to them.
This leads society towards backwardness with orthodox views. Today's youth can help eradicate this by -
Offering high level education
Social integration
Increasing women employment
Involving them in active politics and social activities
Arranging social protection programmes
Generating awareness among parents
Giving scholarships to girls
Spreading awareness against child abuse and violence
Stopping sex identification and abortions
Social welfare developments by politicians
Promoting NGOs to eradicate Gender Inequality
Helping them become tech-savvy

Gender inequality means to discriminate between a girl and a boy. Girls by birth are given less rights in the society and boys are given unnecessary rights. Today, even educated people are practising gender inequality.
We as youths can try to create awareness among people to stop gender inequality. We can show charts, graphs etc in which girls are doing better than boys.
Girls-women are proving themselves better in each and every arena. Our President is a woman; many of the ministers are women. Some of the women are housewives, but they do their work 24/7 and 365 days without taking any holiday.
As awakened youths of progressing India, we can do our part in following:
Creating awareness for gender equality in our villages, cities, nearby areas, society etc.
hope it helps...
