The gene flow is popular and individual genetic material which transfers from one population to another.

Example :
If a brown beetles enter into a community consisting solely of green beetles, it creates a offspring with greater color diversity. Breeding between the brown and green beetles introduces new gene combinations into the population.

hey mates here is your answer

population genetics, gene flow is the transfer of genetic variation from one population to another. If the rate of gene flow is high enough, then two populations are considered to have equivalent genetic diversity and therefore effectively be a single population.

hope it helps you ❤️
