variation in the relative frequency of different genotypes in a small population, owing to the chance disappearance of particular genes as individuals die or do not reproduce.

genetic drift is a mechanism of evolution in which allele frequencies of a population change over generation due to chance .
genetic drift occurs in all of non infinite size but its effects are strongest in small population..
