1. Genetic Drift :- It is the random change in the frequency of alleles in a population over successive generations. It takes place due to:-
(i) Severe change in the DNA
(ii) Change in number of chromosome
2. Natural selection :- The process by which nature selects and consolidate those organisms who r more suitably adapted and posseses favourable variations
3. Mutation :- It is the sudden change in the number or structure of genes or chromosomes , due to which there are appearances of certain characters which may not have existed in the parents, grandparents or great grandparents
