The melting point of pure ethanoic Acid is 290 Kelvin.
Thus, It often freezes during the winters in the cold climates or cold regions.
Due to the freezing of Pure Ethanoic Acid at cold climates it is often called as Glacial Acetic Acid.

KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER :-

☸️ Ethanoic acid is commonly called as Acetic acid which has a molecular formula :-

CH3COOH or C2H4O2

( On adding 5-8 percent of water in ethanoic acid we obtain Vinegar.)

☸️ Acetic Acid is a weak acid as it ionises partially.
