Glaciers are made of fallen snow that, over many years compresses into large thickened ice masses. They form when snow remains in one location for longer enough to turn into ice. What makes these unique are their ability to move.

Global warming can adversely affect the environment. Talking about glaciers, the ice would melt due to high temperature threatening the rise of sea level and other ecological destructions.
