With a population of billions and more, the world is like one massive home to one big family. The family members speak different languages, practice different religions, and have different lifestyles and a different way of thinking. But they are a family. Do what you can, put a thousand more differences, create a hundred more tribulations, they’ll remain what they always were: A Family. Even if they don’t give regard to this fact, it won’t change the truth; a family is a family even if they live a thousand miles apart. This is my vision of a perfectly peaceful and harmonious world. A world bonded together by true love, not by color, not by language not by religion, only by love. This is how I want to see the world I live in; this is the world I want my approaching generations to live in. I want them to remember us as the creators of a peaceful world, the perfect world. This is my dream for the world and I plan to bring this dream to reality by playing my part as well as showing people what they can do to achieve the ultimate goal of global peace. Global Peace isn’t something that can be achieved by tweaking a policy here or there, it will take mass participation, work at the individual level, so that each one realizes the enormity of the problems we face today.

My country, India is the largest democracy in the world and with a civilization of more than five thousand years old, boasts of multiple cultural origins. Each and every region of the country portrays different customs and traditions. But though we speak different languages, yet we are all Indians. The same is the case with every other nation and with world too. ‘Unity in Diversity’ has been the distinctive feature of ours and should remain so in the future. We are a world full of differences. These differences should not make us weak; they should be the source of our strength.....

Global Peace is an ideal of freedom, peace, and happiness among and within all nations or the people. World peace is sometimes claimed to be inevitable result of a certain political ideology. Leon Trotsky, a Marxist theorist, assumed that the proletariat
world revolution would lead to world peace. World peace has been depicted as a consequence of local, self-determined behaviours that inhibit the institutionalisation of power and ensuring silence. The INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE unofficially known as WORLD PEACE DAY is observed annually on 21 September. It is dedicated to peace and absence of war and violence. In 2013 for the first time has been dedicated to peace education. So it is very important to maintain peace.
