• release of chlorine trapped in antarctic ice  which will lead to depletion of ozone by a huge amount thus sending earth in a extinction cycle

• Some gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane and water vapor are present in the atmosphere.
• These gases form as a shield around the earth atmosphere.  
• These gases absorb heat from the sun and emits it to the earth. Later, these gases absorb the heat emitted from earth. This increases the temperature of earth.
