global warming is the annual increase in the global temperature hence the name warming
global warming is caused by many factors like use of cfc which depletes the ozone layer and lets the uv rays inside and these rays contain more energy hence heating the earth faster
and excess release of CO2 which creates a barrier in the sky trapping all the heat thus increasing the earth's average temperature etc
the harmful effects are
- melting of north and south poles which will lead to increased sea level by an enormous degree which will lead to flooding of cities near sea
- release of chlorine trapped in antarctic ice which will lead to depletion of ozone by a huge amount thus sending earth in a extinction cycle
- unpredictable weather
- etc

Global warming:
- The temperature of the earth is maintained with ozone layer and air circulation.
- Some gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane and water vapor are present in the atmosphere.
- These gases form as a shield around the earth atmosphere.
- These gases absorb heat from the sun and emits it to the earth. Later, these gases absorb the heat emitted from earth. This increases the temperature of earth.
Effects of global warming:
- When warmness of the earth increases then glaciers melt and raises water level.
- If this situation prevails then it leads to extreme cold and hot weather which is unsuitable for plants and animals to live.
- This may lead to extinction of all the living form in earth.
