Global Wind Day is celebrated every year on June 15th. This is a day in which are highlighted the renewable and non-polluting energies such as wind.

The main objective of Global Wind Day is to increase the use of clean and renewable energies. It's a day to discover the great potential of the wind for the generation of energy. Wind power is expected to double in a few years as well as to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 1.5 billion tonnes per year.
