Globalization is the process through which organizations, businesses, people, governmental bodies, trading partners, etc, integrate. In this the borders which were a hurdle before in conducting economic, social and political activities, they don't pose as a hindrance anymore.

Its the process of interaction and integration among people, companies and governments, all around the globe, i.e. worldwide.

Many experts have their say on the topic of globalization, one such person is Marshall McLuhan, who introduced the term global village, in academics then later, this got popularized in the 1960's. His predictions included that the world had become a global village through the use of electronics.

Global village is a concept that our world had shrunken into a global village, allowing trade, communication, interactions, easier than before. Without having to face any issues, so everyone is connected just like how everyone is connected in a village.

It also takes into account a suggestion, of think globally, act locally.
