Glucose is a type of sugar obtained from the food we eat. Our body later uses it as energy. A certain hormone called Insulin (or rather the sugar regulator) moves this glucose from the blood into the cells and is stored as energy. It is formed in the liver (by the digestion of starch and enzymes and gets broken down) and gets released depending on the body's need for glucose.

Hope it helps :)
