Answer:

glomerulus is a bundle of blood cappilaries. one end of the glomerulus is attatched to the renal artery which brings dirty blood. the other end of the glomerulus comes out of the bowman's capsule  as a blood cappilary, sorrounds the tubule of the nephron and finally joins the renal vein.the function of the glomerulus is to filter blood passing through it. only small molecules of substances present in the blood such as glucose amino acids salts urea and water etc pass through the glomerulus and collect as filtrate in the bowman's capsule. the large molecules like protiens and blood cell cannot pass through its cappilaries and hence stay in the blood

ANSWER

The glomerulus is nothing but a capillary arrangement whose entry point is the afferent arteriole and the exit is the efferent arteriolar. Blood flowing inside the capillaries of the glomerulus is filtered into the conical part of Bowman's capsule. Therefore, the main function of glomerulus is to carry the blood to the basolateral side of the Bowman's capsule so that it gets filtered through multiple barriers to form the glomerulus filtrate which ultimately forms the Urine.
