In 1907-08 around 300 Vietnamese elite youth went in groups to Japan to acquire modern education r drive out the French from their country.
The Youth there in Tokyo setup the Revolutionary Society but it was destroyed by the Department of Internal Affairs of Japan.
Many Vietnamese were then exiled and sent to China and Thailand without any education and advices given.
