=>Golgi apparatus is an important organelle of eukaryotic cell. Golgi apparatus consist of flattened membranous sac called cisternae. In plant cell golgi bodies often called dictyosomes.

=>Golgi body composed of proteins, lipids and enzymes.Golgi body consist of system of membrane that are stacked parallel to each other and form flattened sacs called cisternae. Each cisternae has a cis and trans face.

=>Function of golgi apparatus is the transportation, modification and packaging of materials like protein and lipids mostly into vesicles for delivery to targeted destination.

These is discovered by Camileo Golgi. In plant cell it is known as Dictyosomes. It remains scattered in the Cytoplasm. It consist of ciaternaes, tubules and sacs. It secretes mucus, enzymes, and hormones. It forms the cell wall, yolk and acrosome.

Function

It helps in secretion, packaging and modification.
