Golgi apparatus is a organelle in the cell.it is present both in animal and plant cell.it is also called dictyosome.the biggest structures of it is called cisternae.the smaller ones are called vacuole.the smallest strutures are called vesicles.its function is to secrete some substances like hormones, enzymes ect. Golgi apparatus is called the same in animal cell and called Dictyosomes in plant cells. 
They are stacks of flattened membrane sacs. They consists of tubules, vescicles and vacuoles.
They help in the synthesis and secretion of enzymes, hormones etc..
They also help in the formation of acrosome of sperm.
