➪ It contains many small vesicles of different shapes .
➪ These are generally located near the nucleus .
➪ It has membrane us walls which some minute vesicles and vacuoles.
Functions of Golgi apparatus -
➪ It helps in the secretion and packaging of proteins.
➪ It receives proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum.
➪ It packages proteins into its membrane oeis walls which are then transported to various destination , such as lysosomes, plasma membrane etc.
➪ It also takes part in the transport of lipids such as glycolipids, sphingomyelin, etc.
