The Golgi body helps in the storage, modification and packaging of products in vesicles. The materials synthesised near ER is packaged and dipatched to various targets inside and outside the cell through Golgi body. It is also involved in formation of lysosomes. Golgi body is also involved in synthesising complex sugars
