what is Golgi bodies? it's structure?

The Golgi complex can be identified by its unique structure which some say looks like a maze, but in fact the structure is made of stacks of flattened membranous sacs, or cisternae. Unlike the cisternae of the endoplasmic reticulum or ER, these membranes are not connected.

In simple words Golgi bodies are flattened cavities or sacks in the cytoplasm. They look like pan cakes .
There function is to store protein which leaves the cell via vessicles coming off from the Golgi bodies. It even secretes enzymes
