GPS

GPS stands for "Global Positioning System."

It is satellite navigation system used to determine the ground position of an object. This technology was first used by the US military in the 1960 and was expanded into civilian use all over the world. Nowadays, GPS receivers are included in many commercial products, like automobiles, smartphones, watches(specially exercise watches), and other devices.
