GPS means the Global Positioning System which can track a device and locate its geographical position.
GPS mostly used by mobbing vehicles or person, and with the GPS, police can also locate the criminal by tracking their mobile phones.
When you push the “track me” option on GPS, the GPS signals automatically receives the coordinates and calculates your position or location.
GPS has data loggers which contains huge amount of database and this data can be shared via SMS or GPRS system in form of IP packets.
Then satellite based GPS units will track your location because they are the operated by global satellite technologies such as Global Star and Iridium.
