The GRAM SABHA is a meeting of all members who live in the area covered by PANCHAYAT.
In GRAM SABHA Two meeting is compulsory in a year.
The members of GRAM SABHA are not elected once.
The minimum age of being a member of GRAM SABHA is 18 years.

What is Gram Sabha?
1.Article 243(b) of the Constitution defines Gram Sabha to be body formed by persons whose names are present in the electoral rolls for the Panchayat at village level.

Poverty alleviation,
