Glandular is modified cuboidal or columnar epithelium. Its cells are modified to secrete certain substances. It lines stomach, intestine an other secretory organs. The gland cells may occur singularly as unicellular
gland (goblet cells in teh mucous membrane of alimentary canal) or may congregate to form multicellular glands (sweat glands and sebaceous glans=ds in the skin, and salivary glands, mamary glands, etc).
