Gravity, or gravitation, is a natural phenomenon by which all things with mass or energy—including planets, stars, galaxies, and even light—are brought toward one another. On Earth, gravity gives weight to physical objects, and the Moon's gravity causes the ocean tides.

➸Gravitational force is responsible of objects falling back on Earth, revolution of Earth around Sun and Moon around Earth. It allows everything in the Universe to be in controlled motion

➸Gravity is not a dissipative force since no energy is lost from a system when motion takes place. Further it is also very weak force.

The range of gravitational force is infinite....

➸The gravitational force between any two bodies having some mass can be determined from Newton's law of gravitation.

➸The force of attraction between bodies is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them

F=G(Mm/r²)

➸Here, G is called the universal gravitational constant

hope it helps you:)
