what is green house effect

Its the rise of the earth's temperature due to the trapping of UV and other harmful rays by green house gases like CO2, N2O, SO etc. which traps the radiations coming from sun and other harmful rays within the earth's atmosphere.

Hi frnd,
Greenhouse effect is a process of trapping of the radiations of the sun like UV rays by a planet's atmosphere which makes the planet warmer than its actual temperature . The gases used and released in the green house effect are methane ,carbon dioxide, water vapour, nitrous oxide and ozone.
