Green revolution helped the farmers to increase their per capita income. It made India sufficient in food crops
Disadvantages :
It was only limted to the few states of northern India.
Hyv seeds need fertilizer and pesticide to give result which rich farmer could afford.
Hyv seeds also need a lot of water to give best result which lowered the water level also.
