What Is Green Revolution ?

=> The Green Revolution is nothing but a set of research technology transfer initiatives occurring between 1950 and the late 1960s, that increased agricultural production worldwide, particularly in the developing world, beginning most markedly in the late years1960s.

Merits

It has been solved the food crisis of India by making the farmers to grow crops with high yielding varieties. To provide sufficient nourishment and nutrients to the crop, high quality of fertilizers were provided to the framers.
