what is greenhouse effect and how can it affect ecosystem explain in detail...
ans it fast plz....!!*

Anonymous: Greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, water vapor, methane and nitrous oxide absorb infrared thermal radiation emitted from Earth’s surface. This activity slows down the loss of that radiation energy to outer space.
Anonymous: The Earth’s surface temperature is determined by a radiative balance between incoming solar radiation absorbed at the surface and the subsequent radiation of that energy out to the vacuum of space. When those two are in balance the Earth’s temperature is stable.

The greenhouse effect is the process by which radiation from a planet's atmosphere warms the planet's surface to a temperature above what it would be without its atmosphere.

Global warming is causing the glaciers and arctic ice cap that has been preserved for millions of years to melt faster, and this can affect many different ecosystems.
