As it is clear by name, The full form of GST is goods and service tax, so this tax is levied on Goods and services.

This is a Indirect taxes which means it's burden can be shifted to others. due to entry of this tax in India , it has removed many type of taxes that were used to levied in past yeara like... service tax, Value added Tax.

This was passed in parliament at about 29-03- 2017.
