Gypsum is a soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate, with the chemical formula CaSO. 4· 2H2O. It is widely mined and is used as a fertilizer and as the main constituent in many forms of plaster, blackboard chalk and wallboard.

I think it will change into,

A soft white or grey mineral consisting of hydrated calcium sulphate. It occurs chiefly in sedimentary deposits and is used to make plaster of Paris and fertilizers, and in the building industry.

When heated to that temperature it turns into Plaster of Paris

Gypsum available in general form is Ca (S04).nH20.

Under normal conditions, the value of n ranges from 1.96 to 2.0 however when the temperature increases from 100 to 170 degrees, the value of n changes from 0.5 to 0.8

Heating beyond 250 degrees would result in the value of n reaching the value zero. The product formed due to heating is called anhydrite.

Hope it helps
