Haplontic - when sporophytic generation is represented by only one celled zygote and gametophyte is dominant.
Example : volvox,spirogyra,chlamydomonas

Diplontic - When the gametophytic phase is represented by single to few celled haploid gametophyte and sporophyte is dominant.
Example : gymnosperms, angiosperms,fucus

Haplo-diplontic - An intermediate condition between haplontic and diplontic lifecycle where both sporophyte and gametophyte are free living and multicellular but have different dominant phases.
Example : Ectocarpus , polysiphonia , kelps

✌️✌️hey mate here is the answer..

✨haplo-diplontic life cycle:

➡️it is an intermediate type of life cycle where both the sporophyte and gametophyte are multicellular, equally dominant and often free-living.

➡️bryophytes and pteridophytes exhibit this pattern.

➡️ in bryophytes the dominant phase is the independent, photosynthetic, thalloid or erect haploid gametophyte and it alternate with the short lived multicellular sporophyte totally or partially dependent on the gametophyte for its anchorage and nutrition.

➡️in pteridophytes the dominant phase is represented by the sporophyte which is diploid, independent, photosynthetic vascular plant body.

➡️it alternate with multicellular, independent but short lived haploid gametophyte.

thanks...
nice to help you ✌️✌️
