HAZARD-A hazard is a source or a situation with the potential for harm in terms of human injury or ill-health, damage to property, damage to the environment, or a combination of these.
TYPES OF HAZARDS ARE AS FOLLOWS--
1)-Physical Hazards: Radiation: including ionizing, non-ionizing (EMF's, microwaves, radiowaves, etc.)
2)-Biological hazard - bacteria, viruses, insects, plants, birds, animals, and humans, etc.
3)-Chemical Hazard– Gases, dusts, fumes, vapours and liquids.
4)-Ergonomic Hazard – poor design of equipment, workstation design, (postural) or workflow, manual handling, repetitive movement.
5)-Psychological Hazard– Shiftwork, workload, dealing with the public, harassment, discrimination, threat of danger, constant low-level noise, stress.
6)-Radiation Hazard– Microwaves, infra-red, ultraviolet, lasers, X-rays and gamma rays.

Wet floors, Loose electrical cables ,Objects protruding in walkways or doorways.
