HCF:Highest Common Fator of two or more numbers is the highest number that divides the numbers exactly.
Example:

12-1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12.
24-1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24.
In another method we need to write all the prime factors of these two numbers 12, 24
12-2×2×3
24-2×2×2×3
The common Prime Factors of these numbers are 2×2×3.
We have to multiply the common prime factors2×2×3=12
Si,the HCF of these two numbers 12 and 24 is 12.
