Hybridization of Mn in [MnF6]3- is d2sp3. 5 F will take 5 empty orbitals( 1 s, 1 d, 3p). Then two electrons in d orbital will pair and vacate one orbital for the sixth F. It is a manganese ion +3 and 6 fluoride ions that complexed on their outer shells to fill the manganese octet that is why it is called a complex.

Answer:

Orbital hybridization is the process forming new hybrid orbitals from merging atomic orbitals having different sizes and energies that support  electrons to form chemical bonds in the principle of valence bonding.

Explanation:

Hybridization of Mn in [MnF6]3- is d2sp3.

Electronic configuration of neutral Mn  is 4s2 3d5 4p0. but electronic configuration of Mn in [MnF6]3- 4s0 3d4 4p0

5 F will take 5 empty orbitals( 1 s, 1 d, 3p). Two electrons in d orbital allow to pair and one orbital will be vacate for the sixth F. To fill the mangnese octet  manganese ion +3 and 6 fluoride ions complexed on their outer shell.

Hence, the answer is d2sp3.
