A German scientist Heisenberg proposed a principal in which 1927 started uncertainty principal which is consequences of dual behaviour of matter
According to them ,it is impossible to determine exact momentum or velocity of an electron and he give a mathematical equation.......

Heisenberg gave the uncertainty principle according to him the position of an object and it's velocity cannot be measured exactly at the same time
This came from an idea of dual nature of every object ( wave nature and particle nature )
It is normally know in electron
he gave an equation for it that is
Delta x .Delta p >=h/4pi
