what \: is \: herons \: formula \: ?

Heron's Formula (or Hero's Formula)is the formula to calculate the area of different triangles. The formula is = s=a+b+c/2 (or semi perimeter of triangle) then √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c). This can be used for other triangles which cannot be found by 1/2×h×b.

who \: found \: herons \: formula l: ?

Heron of Alexandria

Heron's formula, formula credited to Heron of Alexandria (c. 62 ce) for finding the area of a triangle in terms of the lengths of its sides. In symbols, if a, b, and c are the lengths of the sides: Area = Square root of√s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c) where s is half the perimeter, or (a + b + c)/2.
