A heterogeneous equilibrium reaction is when there are different phases in the reaction. An equilibrium reaction is areaction that can go in both the forward and reverse directions, and the concentrations of the reactants and products remain the same.
The usual examples include reactionswhere everything is a gas, or everything is present in the same solution. Aheterogeneous equilibrium has things present in more than one phase.
The position of heterogeneous equilibrium does not depend on the amount of pure solid and liquid present.

Hope it help u.

❤.HETEROGENOUS EQUILBRIUM:

  • when the reactants and products are in the different physical state then the equilibriun is said to be "heterogeneous equilbrium".

  • Ex: Co2+C<======>2CO

  • CaCo3<======>Cao+Co2
