hybridisation means intermixing of one or two different or same atomic orbitals to form same energy level new or hybrid orbitals is called hybridisation .
there are 5 types of hybridization:

1. SP hybridization
2. SP2 hybridization
3. SP3 hybridization
4. Sp3d hybridization
5. sp3d to hybridization

hope this helps you please mark me as a brainy wave

here \: is \: the \: answer \: of \: your \: question

# HYBERDISATION :-

It can be defined as intermixing of orbitals of slightly different energies. So, as to re-distribute their energies, resulting in the formation of new orbitals of equal energy and identical shape. The new orbitals thus formed is called hybrid orbitals.

# FEATURES :-

→ Hybridised orbitals are almost equivalent energy and shape.

→ Number of hybrid orbitals produced is equal to the number of atomic orbitals Hybridised.

→ It is not necessary that only half filled orbitals participate in hyberdisation. In some cases even completely filled orbitals also takes parts in hyberdisation.

hope \: it \: helps \: you.
