histones are the basic protein rich in basic amino acid lysin and arginine which is found in the nucleus of eukayotic cell and it has a function in DNA Packaging. the negatively charged DNA is wrapped around this histone octomer to form a structure known as nucleosome. histone octomer is formed by the duplication of four different tyes of histone I. e H2A,H2B, H3 AND H4
