History is 'HIS STORY' the story of a man.
It is the subject which deals with the past events happened in our world. History may be put under two heading , prehistoric and historic.
Prehistoric is that period in which we do not get any information about, ofcourse in documents and other writings.
Historic refers to the period about which we have written documents available with us.
