Its like a guessing game. In this, we think we know the answer and have different variation in your mind. Then we put every variation one by one into the given situation for proclaiming the correct answer.
You may have tried this in mathematics while finding the zeroes of a polynomial. You had to put different variations of yours into the polynomial to get the desired zeroes. It's the same.

It does may seem an efficient way to solve your questions but from an examination point of view, it is a failure. So I concern you to not to operate with this method until or unless you're told to do so by your teachers.

Anonymous: This makes sense since we already know that there are sixty seconds in a minute. However, it just doesn't make sense to me how 60 minutes can equal 1 degree. I guess my confusion comes when I think of a clock. 60 minutes on a clock is a full rotation by the minute hand, and a full rotation is 360 degrees.

Balancing of a chemical equation means making the number of atoms of each element equal on both sides of the equation. The followingmethods are generally used for balancing of chemical equations: (1)Hit and trial method or trial and errormethod. (2) Partial equation method.
