Explanation: It is the complete division of egg into blastomeres. Alecithal, homolecithal and mesolecithal eggs show rapid holoblastic cleavage. They maybe radial, bilateral or biradial.

2.MEROBLASTIC CLEAVAGE:

Explanation: It is the incomplete or partial division of egg into blastomeres. The cleavage furrow cannot cut through the enormous yolk present so that the entire egg is not divided into cells. They are of two types: DISCOIDAL CLEAVAGE and SUPERFICIAL CLEAVAGE.
