Horizontal Range Formula. A projectile is an object that is given an initial velocity, and is acted on by gravity. The horizontal range of a projectile is the distance along the horizontal plane it would travel, before reaching the same vertical position as it started from.

himanshu886: and equation
khushismart10: Time of flight 2tm = 2(v0 sinθ0/g)
Maximum height of projectile hm = (v0 sinθ0)2/2g
Horizontal range of projectile R = v02 sin 2θ0/g
Maximum horizontal range ( θ0 = 45° ) Rm = v02/g
