Hotel management is a big industry which has multiple departments like administration, accommodation, food & drink services, and supervision. In simple words Hotel management is a profession and business.
Hotel management is a business for owners and a profession for students who are graduated in hotel management. The business owners should have broad knowledge in business management, human resource management and financial management to do business in hotel management. Students who want to start career in hotel management have to get hotel management or hospitality & tourism management degree.
