Human Development Index is that index which shows developed perception of a country. Or in other words, that index which states acheivment of human resource in a country.

Indicators:

•literacy rate

•infant morality ratio

•per capita income

Human development index is used to measure overall achievement of a country in it's social and economic dimensions. UNDP (United nations developmend programme) measures HDI. Education , medical facilities and per captia income are the major indicators of HDI
