A natural resource is anything that people can use which comes from the natural environment. Examples of natural resources are air, water, wood, oil, wind energy, iron, and coal.

Capital resources are goods produced and used to make other goods and services. Basic categories of capital resources include tools, equipment, buildings, and machinery.

natural resources are refers to materials or substances occurring in nature which can be exploited for economic gain.
