Humidity basically means the amount of water vapor present in the air which makes the hot weather even more unbearable.
As the temperature increases, the requirement of water vapor in the air also increases to achieve the increased saturation.
This is what makes the weather so moist, as we call it humid. There are different types of humidity - absolute, relative and specific.
